Sonrisas Siempre provides dental services to underserved children in Hispanic America. It does so by educating and providing preventative, restorative, and surgical care during dental service trips abroad.

For many children, Sonrisas Siempre means the difference between a life with or without teeth. For adults, it can mean the difference between living with painful toothaches or not. For those living in Central America, basic dental education means knowing not to scrape sugar off the cane - a practice that is common and leads to rapid and permanent tooth decay. Such education also teaches the benefits of brushing teeth, and gives the supplies necessary to do so.

Sonrisas Siempre makes a difference in the lives of many. Please consider whether and how you can help in that effort.

As you know, I have been thinking of starting my own 501c3 organization that would enable us to more easily serve the Spanish speaking 3rd world nations in the dental capacity. To this end, I have been in contact with people who can help us with this mission. The reason that I am writing is to see if any of you would be interested in assisting with this financially. (OK...there I said it!) Anyway, it looks like it will run about $2000 to get everything set up. I will do the leg work and if you can help out in any way I sure would appreciate it. By the way, we're calling our organization Sonrisas Siempre (Smiles Always).
